CME-certified satellite symposia held in conjunction with the Masters in Ophthalmology meeting are valuable opportunities to provide continuing education to the ophthalmology community. Satellite symposia are non–commercial CME–and CE–certified activities addressing educational needs and performance gaps that complement the scientific program agenda. They may include one or a number of speakers and may cover one or several topics addressing the educational gaps of ophthalmologists. The activities will not be sponsored by the AAO or FSO but will be endorsed by the organization. Satellite symposia are separate and independent from the official scientific sessions.
For the fee, symposia organizers will be allocated a one (1)–hour timeslot in the main meeting room, and provided with the basic AV set up from the general session room. Satellite symposium organizers are responsible for obtaining CME certification for the activity (CME provider referrals available upon request). Activity marketing opportunities included in the fee:
